There are a lot of things that will make us get up and go with the quickness – the Krispy Kreme hot light. A “wyd” text from bae. Too much coffee. A big dog walking around with no leash or owner in sight. The escalation of sh*t talking in a spades game.

But not even those makes us move faster than the call or the cause about getting to the MONEY. It’s generally the motivator of all motivators now a days. It’s been said that it can’t buy us happiness and I say that I would certainly like to have enough of it to find out! Sheesh…I’m tryna see what THAT’S like! Lol but seriously…it’s awesome that we have passion and purpose behind the businesses we are building and the work we are putting in, but the truth is the bottom line to the success and longevity of any businesses is the bucks it brings in.

Money is a means to survive personally and professionally. Whether we funnel funds from our 9-5 to our non-stop grinds, take out loans to get things moving along, shake what our mommas gave us for the green…its ALWAYS going to cost if we want to be a boss.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying compromise yourself, your morals, or your snapchat account for the dinero. I’m just saying…from a consultant’s perspective…put as many income streams in place based around your talent, brand, or business. Always be working to make your efforts pay off. Being paid for what you do is definitely a sign of validation and credibility to the public. I mean, if no one else would pay, why would they? Strive to have a strategy and stick to the plans that you’ve set to work on keeping that gwap on hand.
